In November 2024, the Safripol Toy Campaign team embarked on an incredible mission to sort and refurbish thousands of donated toys from across South Africa. The goal? To spread joy to children this festive season, thanks to the generosity of countless individuals and partners.

Three Events, One Mission

The toy sorting events were hosted at three incredible venues:

• Johannesburg: Wanderers Cricket Stadium, an iconic venue that provided a fantastic space for our volunteers.
• Durban: Eduvos SA’s Umhlanga Campus, whose comfortable facilities allowed for efficient and effective sorting.
• Cape Town: The Angel Network in the Western Cape, offering support and a welcoming environment for the final sorting event.

These venues made it possible to count, sort, and refurbish over 30,000 toys, ensuring each one was ready to bring a smile to its new owner.

Making Toys Shine Again

Every toy was lovingly inspected and, where needed, repaired or enhanced. This included replacing batteries and minor fixes to ensure that every child would receive a toy in excellent condition.
