MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Supply Chain or Equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
3 years Raw Material Inventory Controller in a chemical environment. Experience as a Logistics Coordinator
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
• Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of stock is in the correct storage area or SAP location
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and consignment stock, silo stock bagged stock.
• Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
• Consignment Stock Customer Consumption Management
• Inventory Controller PET Durban Warehouses
• Occasionally Outbound Transport Goods Issued
• Reconciliation and processing of Production Refeeds (from Bag to Silo)
MINIMUM CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management in SAP
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory control.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
