Safripol is one of South Africa’s leading plastics manufacturers. Safripol specializes in Polypropylene and High-density Polyethylene which is then supplied to a diverse market of converters.

Safripol is the only company that manufactures High Density Polyehtylene in South Africa. Safripol produces +/- 160 000 mt/year of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) which is made up of a number of different types known as grades that are specialized for different applications.

Safripol also produces 110 000 mt/year of polypropylene (PP), utilising Basell’s Spheripol* technology. This is also comprised of different types of polypropylene such as homopolymers, co-polymers and random co-polymers.
